SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Development of strategic and operational business plans for Europe. 2. Development of investment plans. 3. Development of marketing plans for Europe, support to sales. 4. Management of the following support functions: Recruitment, Finance, Legal, Purchase and so on 5. Profit and Loss. 6. Management of all personnel in European Regional Centre. 7. Determining management plans for key Sales Managers. 8. Assurance of highest Quality levels. 9. Management of Customer Satisfaction. 10. Delivery of approved strategic and operational plans. 11. Liaison with local authorities. 12.Others
"MUST HAVES"
1. 5-10 years in solar industry or a senior management position in solar company. 2. Experience in marketing, especially in segment, targeting, positioning, and selling.
3. BA / BS or equivalent in business / marketing with advanced degree (MBA, MS, MA) is desirable.
4. Fluent in both English and German
5. Fluent in Chinese is better
Other soft conditions: 1. P&L responsibility in larger business environment. 2. Experience selling to "C Level" executives. 3. Knowledge of software (MS Office), basic international trade, contracting standards and precedents, business procedures, knowledge management, creative practices and unique operational characteristics necessary. 4. Experience in delivery of high-level presentations and announcements to audiences composed of executives and other highly critical and insightful persons. 5. Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to operate in situations where leadership, creative problem solving and opportunity development is required, and where resource allocation decisions are critical to success. 6. Strategic thinker with exceptional business analysis skills. 7. Willing to travel 30-50% of the time.
